Please add my name to the list of people recommending John as an excellent driver/guide for the city of Beijing. Our request was slightly more off the beaten track visiting some small theme parks around the city but John was able to meet our requirement perfectly.
Polite, punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. If only all taxi drivers were as good.

We hired John for a day long private tour of Beijing in August, 2010. He is an excellent English speaker. He knows Beijing very well thanks to his years of cab driving experience. He is very gracious and has a great sense of humor. He met us at our hotel exactly on time and provided a safe and comfortable travel experience in his smoke free car to our numerous destinations around the city. I give John my personal five star rating for total customer satisfaction.

I sent John a last minute email to take my family of 4 to Mutianyu. He was already booked but made arrangements with his friend ( also John ). As promised he was waiting in our hotel lobby (1o minutes early). His English was good and he answered all our questions. His car was clean and in great mechanical condition.
Would recommend John (s) anytime!!!

John was great; easily the best hired driver I had in China. He took us to Mutinanyu and Summer Palace and even helped us buy our tickets. Great job John.

Me and my boss Hans had a very enjoyfull day last week with "John", Summer palace, Mutainyu and the great wall and finaly ending up getting help shopping. We can highly recommend John - flexible, good english, positive and not to forget a nice and comfortable car.

I booked a trip with John to Mutianyu because of all the positive comments on the web. It was exactly as described: good driver, good English, open for suggestions, ...
Over all it was a fun trip and I will certaily use his services again ....
