Thanks so much John for a wonderful day today! Your excellent driving and knowledge of English made our day so enjoyable. I feel that I learned so much about China, and it's people just by spending the day with yoou. You were so generous with you answers to my many questions ! And, the Great Wall was teriffic too !! We hired John for 1 day -- trip to the Great Wall, Ding Tombs, and Summer Palace. He was very accommodating and very kind. It was a good thing that we were able to book him first for that trip because we never had any problems in communicating with him. He claims to speak very little english, but for a local he is very good! Thanks again for showing us the country-side on our way to the great wall, we had a really great time! All the best for you and your lovely family! :)

Hi John, you were our tour guide in Bejing Sept. 2010. It was a mixed group of people. There were Philipino, Vietmanese, and Afro-American couples and a single Chinese man named Terry. Terry became very sick on the rest of our journey. Do you know whatever happened to him? We never seen him again after the first day in Shanghai. Thanks for showing us your country.

My dad and I + 2 friends hired John November7&8 after I found a recommendation for him on an expat website. He took the 4 of us to the wall and then my dad and I hired him for an extra day just the 2 of us. John is an outstanding person, driver and guide. He called a day ahead at the hostel to ask if he could pick us up earlier the next morning b/c he felt the wall would be busier than usual and he was right! He's thoughtful and knowledgeable and we had an amazing 2 days with him. John was an excellent resource for Beijing and China in general and takes great pride in what he does. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend John for at least 1 day while in the city.

We hired John, December 2nd, 2010 on a recommendation from a friend who had great service from him.
Our experience was similarly excellent. John is a capable driver, knowledgeable and a lot of fun ! Our tours took us to the Great Wall and then the Temple of Heaven and we had a wonderful time.
We would have no reservation at all in recommending John to you.
